U11 C v Fairstead, Wednesday 2nd May 2012
Felsted Won by 201 runs.
At last, a cricket match at Felsted! It may have been an indoor match and it may have been a practice match, but it was a cricket match nevertheless. Fairstead had got their wires crossed a little and turned up yesterday to play us. The Cs coped admirably with this and also had to cope with a whole load of new rules for indoor cricket. However, they got on with this and although it took a while for some of the boys to get the hang of the game, we managed a victory where we scored 201 runs to their 179. It was a very useful experience for both teams and their coaches who can now use this to build on for the rest of the season if we ever manage to play outside on the grass.
