4th XI vs. St Faith’s, Wednesday 16th May 2012
Felsted Lost by 8 wickets
The 4th XI played St Faith’s this week and had a disappointing 8 wicket loss with being bowled out for a measly 84 in only 19 overs. The only real bright light was when Toby Guild (9) and opener Leo Jewel (23) had a partnership of 35 for the 5th wicket. Another highlight was Ed Padfield’s six in the 3rd over as we had a promising start with 17 for none after 3 overs. Our bowlers failed to build pressure and the amount of wides and no balls bowled kept St Faith’s in the game and above the required run rate.
